Since 2003 when she graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in graphic design and illustration, Kelly Johnston has been immersing herself in the design industry. After working for over a year in the greeting card department of a Michigan based stationery company, she moved back home to Illinois and found herself drawn to the photography industry. After almost three years working as the sole designer for a successful local photographer she realized that, though she enjoyed the photography industry, it lacked some of the creative aspects that she loved so much in the social expression industry. “Why not both?” From that question Johnston Imaging emerged as a graphic design studio specializing in creating fun things through the collaboration of unique design and great photography.
